The Envision Lead Grow team is thrilled to announce the creation of the Student Ambassador Program.

We have been overwhelmed by the response to this movement since the ELG launch in May of 2016. We have now created a way to pull in those teens and adults who want to help.

Our mission is to help girls build their dreams and we know that girls, as well as community leaders, are interested in helping see this goal to success.

That’s why we have also created a Community Partner Program.

First ever Envision Lead Grow summer camp inspires rising 9th grade girls

IMG_1123

Virginia Beach, Virginia (August 12, 2016) — For five days during summer break in August, 20 teen girls got to work – pinpointing what they are passionate about, figuring out how to morph that passion into a potential business, and creating a solid plan to reach their goal.

This was a dream come true for Envision Lead Grow creator and entrepreneur Angela Reddix.

“The Envision Lead Grow movement, to me, is to inspire people beyond their today,” Reddix said. She is also the CEO of ARDX, a multi-million dollar healthcare management consulting company based in Norfolk, Virginia. Throughout the week, the girls learned ‘The 8 Seeds of Success.” She said those 8 seeds were “the pillars of strength for me throughout my ten years in business.”

If you passed by the girls’ classroom at Kempsville High School, you could hear, “I want to be a motivational speaker,” “I love music,” and, “Sports is my thing.”

They are rising 9th graders who will be attending The Entrepreneurship and Business Academy at Kempsville High in Virginia Beach.

This camp was nothing like they had seen before.

“I have learned so much. I didn’t expect it to be like this,” said student Allison Daniels.

On Monday, the girls created “passion plans,” boards filled with things they love, ideas they can’t stop thinking about, and possible business ventures.

By Friday, they all walked into the school auditorium, ready to give a two-minute speech in front of a crowd of their peers and their parents on how they were going to turn their passion plan into a business. It was a passion plan competition.

In the end, Reddix crowned Allison Daniels the winner. She crafted a plan for her company, MS Meals and More, a food delivery, handyman and cleaning service specifically for people dealing with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Reddix gave her $500 to put toward her goals.

“I’ve been to different programs and it’s just, you sit in a class all day. This was a hands-on program and I learn better this way. A lot of inspiration in the room,” Daniels said.

The inspiration came from their camp leaders, Anyssa Reddix, Darcy Caja and Taylor Britt. They taught the girls the 8 Seeds:

  1. Consider what makes your heart sing
  2. Put pen to paper
  3. Speak it and bring it to life
  4. Inhale and exhale
  5. Delve into the details
  6. Plan your success
  7. Reevaluate your plan
  8. Stop and smell the roses!

You can download your own workbook and learn how to use the 8 Seeds in your own business and life by downloading it here.

“I want to be able to give young girls and women a voice, to let them know their dreams are not crazy. They don’t have to put it on the back burner. They may have to be creative. They may have to find the right resources. They may have to find the right support group. And that’s what I want to be. I want to be a safe landing for individuals to just take off,” Reddix said.

EnvisionLeadGrow.com will be the support group, with monthly webinars open to anyone. Sign up here to learn when the next one will be.

“I believe you can make your dreams come true. EnvisionLeadGrow.com will be a place to encourage each other’s dreams into reality.”
