PROGRAM COORDINATOR Job Description

The Program Coordinator reports to the Program Director. The Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing aspects of Envision Lead Grow’s core activities including camps, webinars, and conferences. The position works with the Senior Program Manager to develop and deliver curriculum, while leading recruitment and outreach initiatives for conferences and special events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Convey Envision Lead Grow’s mission and impact through effective social media management
  • Create captivating graphics and documents to attract and retain donors, participants, parents, and partners
  • Communicate program updates through inspiring blog posts and email newsletters
  • Manage the virtual aspect of Envision Lead Grow’s programming by communicating monthly assignments and progress reports through email and our learning management system
  • Assist with in-person program facilitation and management, including but not limited to Summer Camp, Spring Institute, and Boss Up Conference
  • Recruit attendees for Envision Lead Grow’s supplemental conferences
  • Provide monthly participant and program update reports to the Senior Program Manager
  • Assist with developing and maintaining a database of community contacts and outreach efforts
  • Implement innovative recruitment strategies to increase program participation

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two years of experience in communication, marketing, and/or youth management
  • Demonstrated understanding of youth programming or nonprofits
  • Knowledge of social media strategies and practices
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Ability to make oral and written presentations
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight as needed
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
