(MEMPHIS, Tennessee) June 16, 2017 — Hello, Memphis, Tennessee! Our team truly enjoyed our camp visit at the University of Memphis.
And the winner of the $500 Passion Pitch is…
Kacey. She blew away the judges with her new venture, “Soothing Sounds.”
Kacey wasn’t the only winner of the week. Dozens of middle school girls took part in Envision Lead Grow’s first summer camp of the 7-City Bus Tour.
They, along with volunteer counselors, spent a full week immersed in business ideas, passion pitches and entrepreneurial thinking at the Fogelman Executive Center at the University of Memphis.
Parents of the girls were thrilled with the ideas their children brought home from camp.
Envision Lead Grow is a nonprofit based in Norfolk, Virginia. Founder Angela D. Reddix is the owner of ARDX, a multi-million dollar healthcare management and IT consulting firm. Envision Lead Grow is her passion project, a mission to introduce the power of entrepreneurship to girls and young women.
The first stop on the 7-City Bus Tour was Memphis, Tennessee.
Stop #2 is Greensboro, North Carolina.
